Our AML and Verification Policy
We hold Anjouan licence ALSI-102404011-FI3, and that licence obliges us to know who plays on our platform, where their funds come from and where winnings go. This page sets out, in plain language, how we verify accounts, which documents we ask for and what happens if a check is not completed.
Our AML Commitment
Operating since 2016 under White Lotus Interactive Ltd., we treat anti-money-laundering compliance as a condition of doing business, not a box-ticking exercise. Our licence from the Anjouan Offshore Financial Services Authority binds us to the jurisdiction's AML and counter-terrorism-financing framework, and our internal policies are written to meet or exceed those obligations.
In practice, that commitment means three things we do every day: we identify and verify every player before paying out funds, we monitor activity for patterns that make no commercial sense for a recreational gambler, and we report suspicions to the relevant authority through the channels our licence requires. We also train our compliance staff regularly and keep our risk assessment under review.
When We Verify Your Account
Verification triggers
Verification happens at defined points rather than all at once at registration. We collect your basic details when you sign up, and we run full document checks at specific thresholds.
- At registration: name, date of birth, address, email and phone number are collected and screened against sanction and exclusion lists.
- Before your first withdrawal: full identity verification with photo ID is mandatory.
- At cumulative deposit thresholds set by our AML risk policy, we may request proof of address and payment method ownership earlier than your first withdrawal.
- At any point if monitoring flags unusual activity on your account.
Documents we accept
We ask for three categories of document, and each must be current, legible and in your own name.
- Photo ID: passport, national identity card or driver's licence.
- Proof of address: utility bill, bank statement or official government correspondence dated within the last three months.
- Payment method verification: a photo of the card (showing only the last four digits), or a screenshot of your e-wallet or crypto wallet showing your name or wallet address.
How Verification Works
Step by step
The process is designed to be finished in one sitting if your documents are in order. Here is what happens after you upload a document through the secure verification area of your account.
- You upload your documents via the encrypted verification portal in your account settings.
- Our compliance team checks each document for validity, legibility and consistency with your registered details.
- If anything is unclear, we contact you by email or live chat and specify exactly what needs fixing.
- Once approved, your account is marked as verified and your status is visible in your account dashboard.
- If we need a follow-up check (for example, a source-of-funds review), we tell you what we need and why.
Processing time and data security
Standard document checks are completed within 24 to 48 hours. Your files are stored on encrypted servers with access restricted to trained compliance staff, transmitted over encrypted connections, and never shared with third parties except where our licence or applicable law requires it. We do not use your documents for marketing purposes under any circumstances.
When We Ask About Funds
For most players, a photo ID and proof of address close the file. But if your deposits are materially larger than your verified profile suggests, or your betting pattern changes sharply, we may ask you to show where the money came from. This is a legal obligation under our Anjouan licence, not a judgement about you.
Source-of-funds evidence can include recent payslips, a tax return, bank statements showing regular income, a sale contract for property or shares, or evidence of an inheritance. We only ask for what we need to satisfy the specific trigger, and we tell you exactly what document would resolve the query. All source-of-funds material receives the same encrypted handling and restricted access as identity documents.
How We Monitor Transactions
Every deposit and withdrawal on our platform passes through automated and manual screening. We look for structuring (splitting amounts to stay under thresholds), rapid deposit-and-withdraw cycles with minimal play, use of multiple payment methods in ways that suggest third-party funding, and mismatches between a player's stated profile and their actual activity.
Withdrawals are returned by the same method you used to deposit wherever the payment provider allows it. If you deposited with a card or e-wallet, we pay back to that same card or e-wallet; crypto withdrawals go to a wallet address you control and have verified with us. Third-party payments in either direction are refused. Our limits are set out below.
| Transaction | Limit or timeframe |
|---|---|
| Minimum withdrawal | A$30 |
| Maximum withdrawal | A$8,000 per week |
| E-wallet and crypto payouts | Up to 24 hours |
| Card and bank transfer payouts | 1 to 3 business days |
If Verification Fails
What we do
An unverified account is fine for play up to the point a trigger fires, but once verification is requested, the clock starts. If you do not provide the documents we ask for, or the documents do not match your account details, we take graduated steps.
- Withdrawals are held until verification is complete; your deposited funds remain yours and are returned once your identity is confirmed.
- Persistent mismatches between your documents and your registered details lead to account suspension pending clarification.
- Suspected fraud, use of stolen identity or third-party funding results in immediate account closure, forfeiture of winnings derived from the breach, and a report to the licensing authority where required.
- You can appeal any decision by contacting our compliance team at [email protected], available 24/7.
How Long We Keep Records
We retain verification documents and transaction records for a minimum of five years after your account closes, as required by the AML rules of our Anjouan licence. Retention protects you as much as us: it evidences that your identity was properly checked and that your funds were returned to the right person. After the retention period expires, documents are securely destroyed. If you want a copy of the records we hold about you, or want us to correct an error in them, write to us and we will action your request within the timeframe applicable to your jurisdiction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to verify my account before I can deposit and play?
No. You can deposit and play after registering with your basic details. Full document verification is required before your first withdrawal or when you reach a threshold set by our AML policy.
How long does verification take?
Standard document checks are completed within 24 to 48 hours of upload. If we need additional documents, such as source-of-funds evidence, we will tell you exactly what is required.
Can I withdraw to a different method than I deposited with?
As a rule of our anti-money-laundering policy, withdrawals go back to the same method you used to deposit, up to the amount deposited. Any surplus can be paid via an alternative verified method at our discretion.
Why are you asking where my money came from?
Our Anjouan licence requires us to confirm that funds used on the platform come from a legitimate source when deposits exceed levels consistent with your profile. A payslip, bank statement or tax return is usually enough.
What happens to my documents after verification?
They are stored on encrypted servers with restricted access and retained for at least five years after your account closes, then securely destroyed. We never use them for marketing.
